Homework is intended to provide opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in the learning process. It enables children to practice and consolidate skills and provides enrichment and extension opportunities.
It aims to enable children to take responsibility for their own learning, to become independent learners and to develop perseverance.
This page is intended to show you on which days your child will receive their homework.
It is important than in addition to this homework you provide a regular opportunity to either listen to your child read, or engage with them about a text they are currently reading.
Homework is usually either sent out by Parentmail, and/or can be accessed through the specific class pages.
