Lunch ordering procedure
Please order in advance by Wednesday of the week before each menu
Hot lunches are served every day on a three-week menu rotation. Each set of menus is served for two terms. We offer main and vegetarian options, jacket potatoes with various fillings and sandwiches with cheese, ham or tuna.
From January 2019, because of the switch to paperless registration, all pupils now need to order their lunches in advance through the office. It is no longer possible for your child to order a lunch on the day in the classroom.
The easiest way to submit an order is using the links to the online forms on this page of our web site. Just click on the Week one, Week two and Week three buttons to take you to each form. You may still order lunches using a paper copy of the menu, but this must also be handed into the office by the end of Wednesday of the week before the menu for your choices to take effect. The order window closes on Wednesday night of the week before the menu to enable the numbers for the next week to be given to the kitchen. The kitchen can then order food and take deliveries ready for the following Monday
Please note that your choices for each menu will be carried over unless you make a new choice. However, if your child is absent due to illness you will NOT be charged for the meal that you have booked. If you have booked a meal but subsequently sent your child in with a packed lunch without cancelling, we will ask your child to eat the meal that has been booked for them and take the home packed lunch back home.
The menu link for the current week is inactive, as changes cannot be made to your child’s choices mid-week. To see easily which week we are in, there is a table below, and the dates are also detailed on each menu.
If you want to update or revise your child’s choices please submit a new order by Wednesday of the week preceding the menu. Your new choices will then be used for the following week.
If you have any problems with the new system, or need help in navigating the online forms, please let us know in the office.
Meals cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week) and can be paid for online via Parentmail. If you are in receipt of qualifying benefits, your child may be eligible for Free School Meals and the school will receive additional funding. Please contact the office for further details.
Currently all children in Foundation Stage, Year 1 and 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals.
