Named Pupil Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a caring, flexible, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join us and make a real difference to children’s lives.
This is a job working with a child working in reception within a friendly, supportive and communicative team in a school that has a good reputation for SEN provision.
You will be based in class supporting a child that has speech and language difficulties who needs support with communication and learning. The job will involve some intimate care. The job will be working the morning and supervising lunchtime.

Contract: Temporary contract whilst awaiting assessment of needs. Contract will run until August 2027. (The contract may be renewed in September but this will depend on placement of child and funding)
Hours of work: 8.40 – 12.40, Tuesday to Friday (16 hours per week) 38.00 working weeks per year plus 5.7 to 6.69 paid holiday (depending on your Wiltshire Schools’ continuous service). You are required to work throughout the school term time.
Commencement date: Monday 2nd November or as close to this date as possible.

‘Bank’ Breakfast and After School Club Assistant

We wish to appoint a committed and caring ‘bank’ Breakfast and After School Club Assistant to join our outstanding staff team. Our before and after school childcare provision, ‘Peas in the Pod’ has become so popular that we now need more Breakfast and After School Club Assistants to join our team. We offer wraparound childcare from 7.45 – 8.45 and 15:15 – 18:00 five days a week, term time only, and the successful applicants will be responsible for carrying out all duties involved in delivering the clubs to the children, under the direction of the senior staff. ‘Bank’ Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA)
We wish to appoint a committed and caring ‘bank’ lunchtime assistant to join our outstanding staff team. The successful applicant might be required to help serve food to our reception children and then help clear the hall. They could also work with any of our children from Reception to Year 6 supporting lunchtime and playtime.
